  6. Over the years of CD burning, I have found nero to be the most stable software there is. However, their DVD features are lacking

  7. Saw this comment on the official DVD2One website dated 2/15/03 (http://dvd2one.com/news.htm):

"As you might know, I discovered that there were problems with the compatibility of the disks that were written with Nero. Fortunately Ahead took these problems seriously, and they have worked to find a solution. I just tested a Release Candidate of V5.5.10.13 of their software, and as far as I can test the problems seem to have been solved! Great work guys! "

I never saw .13, but I was concerned when I read that because at the time I only had .7b, but now they have .15 up and everything works for me!

  8. Moviegeek, thanks for the post! It's nice that Nero is always looking for ways to improve their products and not charge us for it. But I wish they told us or something! :P

  10. I have burned 3 movies with Nero 5.5.10.15 (Sony DRU500A) using DVD Video, and no problems, but I didn't have any problems with 5.5.10.7b either... There's no changelog yet, so I don't know the differences.

  11. One thing that the new release has cured.

The last release caused problems with the presentation of Menus on VCDs (White boxes around all text items). This new release has rectified that.
