    Hi im having some problems at playing an svcd and an hdtv on my computer...everytime i play it it looks soooooooooooo slowwwww!!!! (that happens with any svcd...) i dont know whats wrong i've tryed with every svcd codec i've found but nothing seems to work......

    Sounds like not enough horsepower? Try playing the MPG file directly from the disk (browse to it) with Media Player Classic. Also, you may be using a dynamic filter to play the video, which means it's doing post processing, which you 110% do not have enough horsepower to use.

    Too many installed codecs spoil the soup!

    Ok i burned it like a data cd and it plays but not like full speed (always looks chopped but not as before) and tried to play it at my svcd/dvd player and it qorked fine

    It can be your display mode. That is your PC player is trying to 'clean up' the video and it can't keep up. Don't use WMP , it doesn't like MPEG2. Try one of the free players, and install the mpeg2 codec.
