  1. Hi,

Does anyone know of software that will convert digital camera images into a video/slideshow that can be viewed without distortion on a widescreen television. i.e. is there any program that can automatically output a series of stills images with black borders to make the output 16:9. It's been bugging me for some time! I have tried pinnacle studio 8 and that is no good for this - though I now know it has no 16:9 output.
    Thanks for any help.

I believe Proshow Gold can do what you need. It can creat SVCD or VCD mpegs with music and cool transition effects. It allows you to change the video settings so there shouldn't be a problem outputting a 16:9 AR video.

  3. I found this free utility which resizes images into 4:3 or 16:9 (anamorphic) format. It seems to be quite good!

  5. Hi Ecko,

I didn't get that problem. System tray stayed put.
This is a bit of a silly one, but have you checked to make sure that the image cropper software hasn't just covered over the system tray.

What happens if you minimise the software?

Failing that, try contacting the guy that wrote the software. He may be able to help.

Use my previous posted link again and drop him an e-mail.

    Good luck

  6. Good day again Nick.

This happens whenever i hit the preview button of Image Cropper
to view my cropped picture in fullscreen.

Also if you hit preview it goes fullscreen, what key do you press to return to normal program view. Mine just stay in fullscreen mode regardless of any keyboard key i press. I have no choice but to press alt+f4 to close the program.

With regards to your question as to what happens whenever i minimize the program, well the desktop shows up with all the icons.
But still the system tray doesn't show up.

  7. When showing a full screen preview, I can get it to return to the program by clicking anywhere on the image with the left mouse button.

As to the system tray problem the rest of the time. I've got no solution I'm afraid!!

Maybe somebody else in the forum has got some good ideas ???
