I recently installed 10.2 on my Mac so I could use the latest version of MMB. I had been using the older version of MMB on my system, but the max burn speed was 16x, and my drive is 52x, so I wanted to take advantage. After the install, for some reason MMB now cannot see my drive. I'm using the generic-mmc-raw driver (as per the website for my drive (a LITE-ON)) but no go. I went back to my older version of MMB and here's the message I get:

ERROR: Cannot open SCSI device 'IODVDServices': Unable to get plugin Interface: e00002c7
ERROR: Please use option '--device bus,id,lun', e.g. --device 0,6,0
    ERROR: Cannot setup device IODVDServices.

The drive is a firewire drive, and it is seen by Toast so I'm at a loss for how to fix this, and terminal code is not my strong point, so I have no idea what the above means.

    Any help would be appreciated.

  2. Have you tried to see if it works with device as CD-R/RW?

Update: I trashed everything, rebooted, and started from scratch. Seems to work now under CDRW setting with a sub choice of generic-mmc-raw.
Burning at 52x now! Thanks for the response.

This error message tells you what you're doing wrong. Quotes (single quotes/apostrophes, double quotes, and backquotes) are all special characters to the shell, so you'll have to put a backslash in front of the apostrophe in "DVD's". Or rename the folder so it doesn't have one.

    Carmine,

I got this error once too, and fiddled for an hour trying to solve it. What I ended up doing was shortening the path to the cue file. I had it buried in folder upon folder, so I just took the bin/cue, made a folder on my desktop and copied the files into it. I then ran MMB and retrieved the cue from this desktop folder. I don't know why, but the shorter path worked and it burned perfectly. Might be worth a shot.
