Hi guys,
I made two weeks ago The ring, and burnt it on DVD-R and deleted from mine HD. Yesterday I try to make a copy for my borther but I couldn't copy my own DVD-R. I gave it 2 shots and get the same error (Read disc error). I burnt my disc with SONY DRU 500 and mine authoring program is Ulead DVD Moviefactory 2.
Can somebody tell me what i've doing wrong or can somebody help me?????

When you read your "original," are you using the same Sony DRU-500, or are you using a separate DVD-ROM drive to do the reading?
My suggestion would be to put the "original" into your DRU-500, use plain ol' Windows Explorer to copy the files to a folder on your hard drive, remove the original disc, insert a new blank, then use Nero (or RecordMax, or VOB InstantDVD) to copy the files to the blank. -
with just a little additin to the above!! use either isobuster or a dvddecrptor to an image file then burn it back with dvddecrptor... remember not all media is perfect & some dvdroms have bother reading them back although they may play there is every chance U cant read it back! got lots of dvdr backed up & not many can be dropped back to the drive using my dvdrom so I use the writer to take them back.
Kev!
