Hi,
I recently downloaded and started using TMPGenc 2.510.
Before on version 2.58, I could set up 2 pass VBR with 2520|600 max|min and then adjust the average to be whatever file sive I wanted (about 915Mb).
Now using the new version I cannot reduce the average bitrate below 1600, meaning my file sizes are 950Mb minimum.
Anyone got any ideas???
Thanks Mark

I found the same thing you mentioned weird. Besides, after many tests with the newst versions i could NEVER see any significant improvement in performance (even they said the versions after 2.58 were optimized for P4...) therefore my advice would be to do the same i did: keep the version 2.57.41.146, it's the best build they've released so far!
