i finally made it!
FIRST SHOT
i created svcd using the following parameters: 4000 CR, 3 VBR. Conclusions: not good, cause the movie and audio jumps all the time, quality image: great. (on the jumps exception)
Size of .bin recorded with missing media burner 697 mb
Movie: episode 24 evangelion
SECOND SHOT
i created svcd using the following parameters: 3000 CR, no VBR.
Conclusions: better, this time the movie does not jumps, but the audio jumps when there's too much action.
Quality image: good.
Size of .bin recorded with missing media burner 371 mb
Movie: episode 24 evangelion
i don't get why the audio keeps on jumping when the action comes, specially in the opening when credits appears with too many images.
For the record: i still can't manage to get subtitles to work.
any comments?

Some of your settings are pretty far away from the official SVCD specification, so depending on your player, you could have serious problems during playback. You can look at the SVCD spec on this site for additional info.

My suggestion: try again with a bitrate of 2500 (pretty standard) or 2600 (max), use a VBR of 3.:: rockinsage :: -

i just was trying to make one chapter per disc, at full quality.
