Need Help with MJPG capture and playback

Hi Everyone,

I am capturing with VirtualDub at 720x480 avi and trying to use the MJPG MainConcept V3.13 and also using PICVIDEO MJPG codec V2.10.0.27. Capturing is not a problem but playback is. When I try to playback either of these files in their respective format...ZoomPlayer and Windows Media Player play them both maybe once without a problem...after that, everytime I try to playback the files they are garbage without any video distinguishable at all....the colors that both players show are a light blue and dark green, sort of alternating with each other diagnolly and horizontally and so forth. The MJPG playback filter in Zoom Player is Morgan Multimedia. Anyone got any suggestions because I really like using the MainConcept and the PICVIDEO codecs.

Now when I try to playback the files Zoom Player and WMP just show a black screen but progress on the play bar. When I drop the avi files into VirtualDub for editing, I can see everything fine. Help Please.

Try downloading the newest codec from Morgan Multimedia. I found no problems with this codec. If I were you, I'd keep only one codec installed since some codecs cause conflict with each other.
