Please forgive me if this has been asked before, I did search and recieved no results
Ok here goes, I am deciding wheter or not I am going to get a dedicated machine for converting my DV movies, and making backups of some of my titles.
Average Movie time is 1 hour and 30 min
What would my average burn time at 2x???
Logic would tell me 45 mins but since a to my knowledge a DVD spins 4x faster than a CD is it longer, shorter or is 45 the right answer.
also I have a choice of 2 systems to dedicate to burning, either a pent 233, or an athalon 1800 both with 80 gb hd's and apprx. 256 megs of ram.
I want to have one DVD/file server, and one DVR for capturing TV shows, and converting to DIVXto save space.
