After search/reading, seems I can't use my regular method to backup series episodes (X-Files, season 1, disc 2)onto 1 DVD-R b/c of mulitple program chains, correct? It has 4 PGC's...
I usually use Decrypter and rip all files, IFOedit to strip, DVD2AVI, VFAPI, CCE and Maestro.. I'd like to keep the original menu and all xtras.. I've read that I could rip each episode into separate files, BUT does that mean that each PGC = 1 episode?? I read that is not always the case.. But I also read that I could accomplish the task using my regular method mentioned above.. ??
Anyway, I'm a little confused .... I thought I could just rip all files, pull out the main vob's, strip them, run DVD2AVI to demux, frameserve to CCE re-encoding, then re-author with Maestro... then just slide the new vob's into the the main files and run IFOupdate... yes/no?? thanks.
