Hi I have converted in tmpgenc
extracted wav then converted to mp2
than simple mux as per guide
audio was out by -300msec so i set this and converted again
spot on with timing
Now i have burned using nero at 16x and it is again out odf sync on my standalone dvd player
anybody got any ideas??
will i have to put it out of sync on the pc file by what i think it needs on the standalone dvd player??

The first sugesstion that I would make is to burn at a slower speed.
However, which DVD player have you got. My DVD player has problems with sync on SVCDs (Mpeg2) - Toshiba 220SD. If you do have the Tosh, then play the SVCD and press the Audio button twice on the remote control, which puts the soundtrack back into place.
