I read people saying that it takes 45 minutes to do the instantcopy, i must be missing something because when i try to use it it says 200+ min remaining, can someone enlight me on this pleae, TIA.

Most of mine have been taking around 90 minutes, give or take 20 each way depending on film length. My system is an Athlon 2100, 1GB of RAM and 2 80GB WD 8meg buffer drives in RAID 0. Just wish my Liteon LTD166 would hurry up and get here so I can enjoy fast ripping also.

I have a dual 1g PIII 1 gig ram , 2 80 wd RAID 0, 2 120 wd 8m cache system is not the fastest by today's standard but is no chump eother I still want to know how they got 45 minutes.

On my system it takes about 2hours to make backup, BUT I have only done seasons DVDs meaning that there is about 4 hours of video on it.
