CUrrently a friend of mine uses DVD2ONE and Nero (Same as me), but when he plays back the discs on longer movies it freezes at the last few chapters. Anyone guess what the cause of this might be and what should I do to fix?

Also i suggest you get the latest version of nero if you hav'ent already.
Hope that helped. -
He is actually using Decrypter, but I will tell him to use Smartripper and do this mode instead. He can also use Recordnow I guess, instead of Nero. Thx for the input

8) Which method are you using to burn in Nero.I use DVDrom(UDF/ISO),no multisession,Iso Level 1-Iso 9660 and untick joilet box.Under UDF tick the box that says "force DVD compatibility mode(required for xbox TM),this greys out the udf physical partition box and then write disc.
I had the same problem with films freezing up on me and adding to my coaster collection until I tried this.
(It only works with recent versions of Nero.) -

And now you, I mean, your friend, has got the NERVE to second guess DVD2ONE. Shame on your friend. Well, i'm sure i'm wrong, so tell your friend that Star Warrior's advice isn't gonna help, because that has nothing to do with your movie freezing, burning, playing, or the price of tea in China.
This issue you are having is a WELL DOCUMENTED issue on these forums and "probably" has little to do with DVD2ONE or NERO. Phewww...I'm sure your friend will be relieved to hear that! For whatever reason, certain media, EVEN NAME BRAND MEDIA, have bad disks every so often and you will get this PROBLEM to occur. The reason is because the data is more sensitive towards the end of the disk and as a result, anything over 4 GB's on these disks, is going to put you in a situation to potentially have this problem occur. That is why this occurs ONLY TOWARDS THE END of the disks. Now, even though DVD2ONE does NOT DIRECTLY cause this problem, it does so INDIRECTLY. Your friend won't like that though.
The reason is because it allows the resulting transcoded output to be 4.36 GB's on EACH AND EVERY MOVIE. This can definitely cause this issue you are referring to with ANY MEDIA, cheap or otherwise. That is just ONE of the MANY reasons I don't use that program. Hopefully your friend didn't make too many backups, because if he did, then he is going to realize really quickly, that a LOT of those backups have this issue, and will continue to have this issue until DVD media gets to the point where it is almost flawless, just as CD media did.
But it will take time for that to happen, and until then, I would try to stay away from filling the capacity of ANY blank media. -

What do you mean what can "YOU" do to fix this Tard, it's your FRIEND that has the PROBLEM, and YOUR FRIEND who needs to fix this. :biglaugha: I hope your FRIEND purchased CHEAP media, because it must really hurt to ride on those roller "coasters" if YOUR FRIEND catches my drift! LOL -
Well if you had a brain you would understand. If he was an expert he would post here himself and ask, but he is not and he wants me to fix it. You really are stupid. He has a problem and I will fix it. So shit for brains whose father should have pulled out,
"CAN ANYONE TELL ME WHAT MIGHT BE CAUSING IT AND HOW I, YES I, CAN FIX IT SINCE HE WON'T BE ABLE TO FIX IT HIMSELF?
OK DUMBFENSE??? DO YOU UNDERSTAND NOW? -

As I said coo coo for cocoa puffs...don't sweat it, your friend got busted. I gave your friend info to help solve your problem. Tell your friend that information was courtesy of "defense." Also, tell your friend he can purchase more good cheap media at www.cdrdvdrmedia.com Since DVD2DVDONE is so FAST AND GREAT, he will be able to make ALL THOSE BACKUPS OF BACKUPS in no time at all. -
Smart enough to backup a movie??? Have u used DVD2ONE? Even a dumbass like yourself could figure this out. This is why he uses this and not CCE or TMPG. You truly might be the dumbest person on this board. He has no choice but to use DVD2ONE.

ahh, Mika, you've done it again. Your friend continues to make you look bad. Tell "HANK" that he is really screwin' it up for "Charlie."
