  1. hey,
i recently got a movie that is encoded with XviD. i downloaded the latest codec.. and installed it. when i tried to play it in windows media player 7 i get this error: "ClassFactory cannot supply requested class" so i tried to play it with BSplayer.. and i get this error: "Unknown file format (XVID)" so i was thinking that movie was fake so i downlaoded virtualdub and opened up the movie. right when virtual dib started i got this error: "One or more of the "DivX" drivers have been dected on your system. These drivers are illegal binary hacks of legit drivers:

DivX Low motion/fast motion: Microsoft MPED-4 V3 video
DivX audio: Microsoft Windows Media Audio
"Radium" MP3: Fraunhofer-IIS MPEG Layer III audio

Hacked drivers are known to cause serious problems...blah....blah.."
this is kinda beside the topic but i'm not sure on what to do about this or what it even means?

ok...so i tried the video in dub and it's not fake. now my only problem is getting it to play.

thanks for your help in advance.
    mike
