    Hello everyone, i am totally new at this and i have a problem:-
    When an mpeg is burned to a blank disc it plays but when i burn an avi it doesnt-what should i do? I downloaded tmpgenc and is there any options on there which i can convert avi to mpeg?
    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    If you take a quick look to the column on the left hand side of this page you will see a lot of words. The ones in BIG BLACK letters arew links to other sections of the site. I suggest you start reading with Newbie. Then take a look at convert and author.
