TMPGEnc converting dixv to svcd prob

Well im using TMPGEnc latestest version and when i converted the 755mb avi file to svcd.. i got a 1.8gig file.
i used a video bitrate of 2000..
when i went to cut it in half i ended up with 2 900mb files.. what do you recommend me doing?
change the bitrate to 2500 and convert the avi again and make it a 3 cd svcd?
also what do you recomend me using for a video bitrate? 2000? 2200? 2500? or what?

well i just burned 3cds at 2000 video bitrate and it freezes every 3seconds.. what do i dont bout this???

I am not an expert here, but I have heard that if you change the field order, that would help fix the playback problem.

1)Try this open TMPGEnc
2)Go to option
3)In option go to Evironmental setting
4)In Evironmental setting go to VFAPI plug-in
5)In VFAPI plug-in youll see some boxes take off the the mark on
the box that says AVI2(OpenDML) File Reader
