  1. Got a few 25 packs of Accu media off eBay. I've only openned one of the packs the first few disks worked fine, but now all I get is errors. I've tried to test everything else. I ran the sony test for my Sony DRU500 1.0f drive. No problems. I have my burning data on a separate HD w/ UDMA enabled. That HD also only has the burning files on it only. I'm using Instant VOB to burn to the disks. I use only 1.0x write speed and have been doing a simulation before write. Everything is fine until somewhere past the 75% mark on the disk. Then somwhere in that last 25% I get a write error. (In the simulation mode)
I suspected possible power issues (had a problem similar with a CD Burner before) so I removed all non essential devices/cards. (have a 350W PS so it shouldn't have any problems anyhow.

So I'm wondering are these Accu disk really that shit? What do people recommend for cheaper media?

    Thanks

  3. I have burned MANY ACCU disks and have never had a problem with them except for a few coasters which were from my error not the disk's.

  4. Seems like the last 25% of the disks are unstable always giving me errors. I've tried with different data thinking might be that. Strange part is I can pop a -RW disc in there and works no problems. Must be the media. now I can't decide if I should sell the rest of my Accu discs or open them and take a chance.
