I would like to buy a Pioneer A05 DVD writer. Is there an external enclosure to buy for this drive so i can connect it with firewire to my laptop computer??
What would be the best way to go??

  2. this is actually what I'm looking at too. I believe just go to a search engine and type in external enclosure and you'll get an abundence of links. Pretty good prices on some of them too.

Or you can buy the drive and an enclosure. Basically the exact same thing.
Hope is the trap the world sets for you every night when you go to sleep and the only reason you have to get up in the morning is the hope that this day, things will get better... But they never do, do they?

    just checked the spec...
    is your enclosure works fine?
cause i think the out put power is not so good
    "External Universal AC Adapter 5VCD @ 1.5A; 12VDC @ 1.5A "
    i would recomand a 5VCD@ 3A ; 12VDC @ 2A exernal enclosure to have a steady power for a DVD burner.
