I'm in need of additional storage space. Generally this requires a simple solution however I have a somewhat unique situation. I have a laptop ExpressCard which provides two eSATA ports. I'm not looking to immediately own as many drives as possible but I will eventually want to expand my capacity in the future. That said what enclosure is durable, has strong performance, cost friendly, and will allow me to fit as many drives as possible? I'd like to think that the $300 IcyDock enclosure over on NewEgg is overpriced. I'm wondering if that's the norm?
This is the card I have http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16839158025
