  1. Im a little clueless on how to burn the files that DVD2ONE created from the dual layered disc that i used. I just got my SONY DRU-500A and am a little new to this. I use recordnow max and instead of guessing and possibly making a coaster id ask. All the helpful responses are appreciated.

  2. To start with go to file in Record Now Max

    New Job
    Data Disc
    Then
Add Files Or Folders (THIS OPTION IS JUST UNDER VOLUME LABEL)
    Add the whole VIDEO_TS folder

    CHOOSE RECORDER/ SPEED / ETC
    THEN THE BURN BUTTON

    AUDIO_TS

    The the VIDEO_TS folder...

I have followed the steps above in Recordnow Max 4.5, but get a error everytime I hit the record button.

    Anyone have any ideas ?

I am using the trial version at the moment.

I have burned the files sucessfully using Nero 5.9.5.14

  6. I used the new Nero version, which work fine for me. But i use Record Now at the moment. It's a great and easy to use programm.

One question. I never put a emptyaudio folder on the dvd and i have great sound. Why is it necessary to put a empty audio folder on the dvd?

I just copied all the files to the Video_TS file in Nero 5.5.9.17 after selecting DVD-video in the compilation window. I burnt to DVD+RW, plays fine on my 4 DVD players (Hiteker(APEX) 1000,5131, Singer SDC001 and Magnavox MDVD100).

  8. with nero they already have black VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS folders on it. so if you put yur VIDEO_TS folder on, it automatically adds an AUDIO_TS folder, i think

  9. I use Record Now at the moment. This programm doesn't add a AUDIO_TS to the dvd. When i play the DVD everything looks o.k. So i don't think the AUDIO_TS is very important, but i coeld be wrong

  10. ?? you don't need an empty AUDIO_TS file ????

  11. To be compliant with DVD the AUDIO_TS should be added, its on ALL store stamped DVD's.
I use the upgrade Recordnow DX and have no problems the DX version came with the SONY 500UL should have been included with the SONY 500a also.

  12. I'm a little bit confused now.
Should there be a AUDIO_TS folder on the backup DVD or not?

I have a few backups without the empty folder and they work excellent and i have a few with the empty folder: i can't find a difference
