I have been trying to convert an avi to vcd in the last 3 days and I have burnt some 10 cds with various encoding settings, burning settings....No matter what I do the video is still choppy and it is not good to watch. It plays smoothly on my PC but not on the VCD player!
Anyone knopws what could be the problem? Encoding program? Media? Source? I am really getting frustrated because of this!

ok..I tried the Panasonic encoder and it took to encode the video 3x more than with TMPGEnc but the result is better but I have also changed the cd I burnt the video on so...I really don't know....I will do the encoding once more with TMPGEnc and use the current brand of cd.
