    Lock Stock
    Snatch
    American Pie 1 & 2

    Thanks everyone!

american pie? its a good movie, but greatest of all time?
it should still be another couple of months before you can get two towers. so you shouldn't worry about stores not having it yet. unless you talking about warez. now you wouldn't be trying to mention that, are you?

  4. I don't know about my top five but my favorite all time movie is

Star Wars - The original 1977 release ! (he should have just left it the way it was)

  5. thx for all the replies, keep em coming!!!!!

AND1- i agree with The Usual Suspects, AMAZING, but the rest of them are not really my genre! i think The Godfather will b v popular though!

Conquest10- maybe i was a little generous about American Pie 1 & 2, not top 5, but good, i guess i rank them highly because they entered a new genre/niche which (as far as i am aware) wasn't around until then! and with regards to 2 towers, of COURSE i am not talking about warez, thats mean on the billionaire companies now, warez is banned so let us never speak of it again....

vcd4me- star wars has never been my sort of thing, but i have to say that it is a classic, and definatly worthy of a high ranking vote!

I also found "Dude Wheres My Car?" AMAZING!!!! with the exception of the Bill & Ted movies, on eof a kind which can never be repeated again, nothing but brilliance to some, junk to others!

    keep em coming plz folkes!!!

PS AND1- i found what happened to poor old Joe Peski at the end of Casino a little too hardcore for my tastes, but definatly realistic! Who would have thought the same actor could have entertained 1000's of kids with the Home Alone series and yet also perform a stunning role in many gangster movies?!

  7. 1. American Beauty
    2. Star Wars Trilogy
    3. Mr Hollands Opus
    4. The Castle
    5. The Shawshank Redemption

    (Not in any particular order)

Also Bowling for Columbine but I would class that as more of a documentary then a movie. It is probably one of only a handful of movies that has changed my entire thinking on a subject.

  8. Not to pick a nit, but the "American Pie" movies are the same genre as "Porky's" and therefore, done before. From your list though, I'm guessing you're kind of young, like teens or twenties? So maybe "Porky's" is before your time. Nothin' wrong with that.

    Anyhoo, my list:

    1. Frequency
    2. Usual Suspects
    3. Dragonfly (yes, I liked it!)
    4. Aliens
    5. Retroactive

Sorry to sound defensive about #3, but just because Kevin Costner is a dipshit doesn't mean Hollywood has to bash *every* movie he's in.

    I have a question.

How did the face huggers get on board in the third film?

That's the only reason I didn't care for it. I couldn't figure how they got on board.
