    When I download avi files they sometimes say that they cannot be played back because they are not in the right format. I have downloaded nimmo codec pack but this still does not help. Does anyone know what to do please.

    try using virtualdub to open it up then if need be save as avi ive had to do this myself sometimes

    I have tried virtual dub but that says it needs a vpf but I don't know what that is.
