    Is there any software out there that can convert windows media video (wmv) straight to mpeg.

    I only know of a way using stoik converter that converts wmv to avi then I use TMPEng to convert the file to mpeg. This takes time can anyone please help with a direct way.

    try to use EO VIDEO , i have used it to convert real player files to mpeg , but i think it also works for wmv. You can find it in this site , go to tools and you wiil find it

    I got that but it only turns wmv files to avi files.

    huh?

    TMPGenc will convert WMV directly to MPEG. At least the older versions will... has this feature been pulled by Tsunami software?

    wow it works. I didn't even know it can do it cause it dosen't have the extention in the file types when you open the video file. Just have to change it to all files.


    I have the latest TMPEng and it works
