Hi everybody, i have this problem: i own some Hong Kong DVDs, with chinese and english subs. I have no problem in ripping and encoding (using TMPGEnc) - i use DVD2SVCD because i found this is an excellent suite with many cool features like adding permanent subs - really easy to use. But, when i rip subs and i have to select the correct subs to encode with the movie, it happens that sometimes (especially with Mei Ah HK cheap DVDs) i have serious difficult in chosing the right ones. I tried almost everything but my resulting SVCD comes with chinese subs (which are the default subs stream) or no subs (if i select other subs stream different from the first one). When i start encoding, and the "subtitle color and selection" screen appears, i have - for example - three subs stream availables. In correspondance of the first line, i see, in the "subtitle" column, chinese subs. In correspondance of the other two lines, in the "subtitle" column, i don't see anything, and if i select them i don't have any sub encoded with the movie! I tried with other softwares, DVDx 2.0 works well with subs, but the encoding is simply horrible...
I'm sorry if my english is not so good - i'm from Italy - but if anone knows how to help me (any advice is welcome - using other programs too) to add subs i will be glad!

Cheers,
Valerio
