Hi
What I would like to know is does it make any difference at what speed I back up my DVD’s at to play back on my standalone players?
I have a Sony DRU500a and the firmware is 1.oe, should I also update the firmware as I tried to use Prassi Primo DVD, and it did not recognise I had a DVD writer, so ended up using Record now DX.
Could someone also explain why this happened-
I used the supplied Sony DVD+RW and backed up a film which was transcoded using DVD2ONE. Burned ok, then I tried it on my standalone Aiwa XD-DV480 player that apparently supposed to play +rw, and an error appeared ‘CHECK DISK’
Then
I tried it just by chance on my other DVD standalone Thomson DTH4000 player that does not support DVD+RW’s on this player, but to my astonishment it worked.
Why is that?
Whish is the best DVD recording software?
Thanks
Maff
