Yes, but many (maybe most) CD-RW disks hold about 740meg mode-2 whereas most CD-Rs hold about 800meg mode-2. Thereby if you are copying a "full" CDR (approx 800meg) to CD-RW (approx 740meg), it may error out because all of the data might not fit.
