I believe you are trying to say that you can't get sound from your AIW 7500 into your sound card to hear it through your computer speakers (ie; using the tuner or the composite connection.)

    If that is the case:
There is a wire on the "dongle" next to the digital video connector that needs to be plugged into the input of your sound card. If that is connected properly (check the manual) then is your "line-in" level on your sound card mixer set "low" or "muted"?

  4. Hi, I also have a similar problem with my ATI All-in-wonder Radeon 7500 card. I have been trying to capture TV programs and am able to capture the video ok. However, the audio is always "noisy". I have tried to turn the recording volume (in the Play Control Panel) to the maximum but the background noise is still loud. I hope someone can give me suggestions as to how to fix it. Thanks!!!

    Stupidmice:

If you are using an "onboard" sound card, you may want to consider getting a good, separate sound card. Onboard sound is notorious for being of questionable quality. I use a Turtle Beach Santa Cruz sound card with my ATI AIW Radeon 7500, some good generic speakers, and it sounds great.

  6. I have got it working now, it was Line in problems. 1 more question, whenever I capture shows or whatnot, I always have low audio, and I have all the settings turned up to 100%. Is there a way to fix this?

I have the same problem with my ATI Radeon 7500 AIW, recorded video has noise & pops in audio. Did you manage to get yours fixed?
If you did, could you share the fix please!

Hey guys. Here's my deal: I've been having noise probs for a while now. If I turn up my speakers, I can even hear the system clock "ticking" away. Also, just moving my mouse or opening windows will cause a strange audio effect from my speakers (sounds like a buzz somewhat).

I kept wondering what the problem was until just the other day, I muted the audio input from my AIW 7500 card. Immediate silence!!! The video card is literally interfering with its own audio channel!

Try it, guys, and let me know if ya'll are having the same problem, too.

Is it just a problem with the card? I just upgraded my mobo & sound card a week ago, and the problem was the same on both systems. It's gotta be the card... but I don't want to have to buy a whole new capture card...
