I'm having a problem with an mpeg2 I created with my TV tuner card capture.
I recorded a program off TV thru my tv card to mpeg2 in 2 parts. The beginning of the program (first file) is fineand plays well everywhere.... The last part (2nd file) plays fine on PowerDVD but plays distorted...like VERY SLOW MOTION AUDIO...and maybe video..in all of my video editors (premiere, TMPGEnc, VideoStudio6, Magix VideoDeluxe, MyDVD...ect...) or windows media player.
Both files play the same perfectly in PowerDVD so that should mean they are ok right??
It sounds like its slow motion (the girl speaking sounds like a dying man or something) and the video could be slow also but its not a fast motion film so I can't tell but I'd imagine it was all slow??
I tried re-encoding in TMPGEnc but it just ended up with no audio after, The other editors freeze up and MyDVD and Ulead Movie Factory both won't just burn it to a disc, they give me errors too. All this software works good for other files I've captured the same way tho....and I really need to fix this file cuz this program will not show again...it was a documentary thing.
PLEASE tell me someone here can help me fix this or figure out whats wrong.

Nobody has ANY ideas what I can do?
Well maybe this will help?.........
I used TMPGEnc Plus - Mpeg Tools to split the file into 2 seperate files (using Simple De-multiplex).... an audio file (.mp2) and a video file (.m2v) and I played the .mp2 and it sounded normal now!!!!!
I played the video .m2v file on media player and it looks normal too I think but hard to tell with this type of movie...documentary's - no fast action, but it looked good.
I tried putting the 2 back together using MPEG tools also but it just looked liked it did in the beggining...slow again.
But the normal play while audio/video is in seperate files is a good sign right????
ok SOMEBODY...ANYBODY...pleeze help me fix this file.....how to put these 2 back together and still playing good PLEEEEEEEEEZE. -
That's really a weird problem. I haven't done any real-time Mpeg2 capture, so I didn't have first hand experience. But if the elememtary streams play OK, you are not in the worst scenario.
All I can suggest is that you use another muxer, such as BBMPeg, to mux audio and video back together. If this doesn't help, I am truly stumped.
