    hello there!
i would like to put 2 movies on 1 dvd.
i have encoded them so they would fit on one dvd (that's 2035MB on first movie and 2035MB on the second movie = 4070MB)
i am using ifoedit, but ifoedit won't let me burn 2 movies on 1 dvd.
i can't put them in the same folder, since they have the same names
and i don't know if i can just change names...
is there any way to do this in ifoedit?!
or do i have to download a new program for this? (which wouldn't surprise me with the many programs you need to copy one movie =])

    thanks in advance!

The simple answer is IFOEdit is not the right tool for what you want.

To have two movies you need two separate PGC's (better have two separate VTS) and a title menu to select which one to play.

The best thing you can do with IFOEdit is to combine the two movies and pretend there's a chapter change between the two (adequate but not nice).

I tried exactly the same thing this morning with ULEAD studio 1.2 trial verision. I started with the two movies in MPG format, imported them, made a menu from a template, modified the thumbnails to show a selected scene from each movie and burnt the disc. It was my first try of the program and it took me 5 minutes to do the job (and another hour or so to burn the dvd directly).

Can't do subtitles or multiple audio tracks, but perhaps it's the answer to your problem.

seems you can add other movies to the same ifo...
it's just not implemented at this time...

when you go to the menu "Author DVD" you find an option that says "add another title" and when you click it it says "not implemented yet"...

anyways, how do i split chapters in ifoedit?

    thanks
