    Like the topic says, I'm trying to figure out a way to replace just the remote control for my Pioneer DV-343, which mysteriously disappeared while I was out of town for a couple of weeks. The Pioneer support site wasn't much help and I didn't have much success looking around at online stores and such... Any thoughts? I really don't want to have to buy a whole new freaking player...

    Have you tried writing to Pioneer, or tried ebay (searching for remotes) I picked up on efor the panasonic tele, hope this helps

    Otherwise just get a universal remote. You should have no problem programming it to your dvd player.
