I was wondering how much you can overburn on a CD-R? Let's say I had a MPEG file that is about 700MB to 900MB, the length of the movie is 1 hour and 46 minutes. Is it possible to fit it onto one CD-R without cutting the movie in half? I'm making a VCD here.

I have read and understood the tutorial on fitting one movie on one CD-R at VCDHelp.com but I was just wondering about the quality. Should I use a constant quality of 2529 for maximum and a quality % of 80? Also, since the file is a DVD-rip(it says it's a DVD-rip but the quality isn't that great from other DVD-rips I've downloaded), I won't lose much quality will I?
