    In Russia they use SECAM-D and SECAM-K, no such thing as SECAM-R. All STV formats are interlaced...
    what the heck is secam -b then ? i have a client in russia who wants a tape in secam b

    As I read in the link I gave above, There's no such thing as "SECAM-B tape", just "SECAM tape". The sub format (in this case: B) just reffers to the braodcasting method (VHF or UHF, banwith and sound ofset) and does not reffer/effect to recorded material... So have no idea why he said that...
