If you're asking how to de-install TMPGenc then just erase all the files related to the application. Even if it does have some entries in the registry, I don't think any other programs do much with them.

However, if you're asking how to gain access to the MPEG-2 functions and MPEG tools after the trial period expires then this is very simple.

Just follow these simple steps:

1. Take your credit card in your left hand
2. Log onto the TMPGenc site
3. Click on the link that enables you to purchase the product
4. Fill out the form (including your CC details
5. Wait for the email to arrive
6. Follow the instructions they give you.

It's simple isn't it? No registry hacking involved, no risky downloaded .exe files that claim to patch your then pirated version of the software but which may actually contain trojans or whatever.

TMPGenc is a very good piece of software -- just cough up much less than it's actually worth by forking out the $49 or whatever they ask for it.
