  2. its like a pinky shine isnt it?

I used to get that too. Its a codec problem. do you have nimo codec pack installed? that;s probably why.

Uninstall and just install the codecs that you need from nimo's or use another pack.

If you have installed nimo and 'some other codecs' you may be hosed. There are a number of ways to try and remove Nimo. One is to install 'all' ( not every single codec, several are imcompatable with other codecs in Nimo, and tell you so), reboot, then uninstall all Nimo codecs. Very Darwinian, but it sometimes works.

I reccomend DivX503, XviD latest build, MPEG-2 codec, AC3 filters, MP3 Audio codec like LAME, and the OGG pack. This works on everything I have ( and that's saying something, I have a diverse anthology ). I occasionally get audio problems from hacked WMP codecs in DivX 3.11. That's the one thing Nimo is good for, the Audio Codecs(they all don't install by 'default'). If you got a lot of WMV files, you may want to look at the WMP9 codec pack, but this is a 1-way trip and it messes up my DivX 3.11 Audio.
