I traded a few used CDRWs with a friend, mainly because he had Verbatim disks which play well on my standalone. Anyhow, he has WinXP and I run Win98. We soon discovered that we could not burn to each other's disks. Both Nero and VCDEasy reported that they were not rewritable disks. Is this a known compatibility issue? Is there any way I can reformat the disks he gave me and write to them? I tried full and quick erases with Nero, but both times it said the disk was not rewritable.
