  1. Interested if anyone has had any success with this combination when the SVCD menu has multiple pages. I have tried versions 5.5.24 and 5.5.30 and both produce the same results. The first page displays fine but using the next button on the remote does not change to the next page (most of the time that is, occassionaly it will work). If you are lucky and finally after pressing the next button heaps of times it does change to the next page the back button exhibits the same behaviour to return to the first page.

Has anyone else seen this behaviour and knows some trick to fix the problem?

I would be interested in people's experiences with the Pioneer 525 as well as in terms of the playback control the 535 and 525 seem identical.

Have you tried version 5.5.2.3. - The menus seemed to be more compatible?

  3. Thanks for the respones.

Yes I have pretty muck tried all the released versions of 5.5 and all exhibit this behaviour. Tried following versions:

    5.5.18
    5.5.23
    5.5.24
5.5.30 (yet to be officially released)

Yes there seems to be a "permanent" bug in Nero regarding only Pioneer players...how odd! Went through the forum and found a few posts like yours and this one:

The interesting thing is that you say on odd occasions this works. Is it with different CD-R's or the same one? Have you checked the SVCD structure to see if there is any difference?

  5. FYI.. I have the exact same problem using a pioneer 333. Havn't found out what pattern makes next work,( the rare once or twice out of 100+ presses that it might work). By the way, this forum has been a wealth of valuble info for me.
