  1. Hi I followed the guideline on this website for making a vcd but it still doesnt work.

Once I finish burning, all that is on the disk are the vcd components and there is no video clips.

When making the vcd, it shows that there is my 4 video clips and the menu, but when completed there is no video clips on there.

Can someone plz tell me what I'm possibly doing wrong or what I need to do, thanx??

  2. i think you're trying to find the .mpgs in the vcd but there are none. to watch it, go to the MPEGAV folder and play the .dat files with windows media player or get a program to play vcds

What kind of program do you need to play vcds?

I have windows media player(which says it doesnt support that format), Nero Burning Rom with Nero Express 5.5.

When I go into the cd after burning in MPEGAV there is 4 files(which i think i my video clips) and they say "Avseq01,Avseqo2,Avseq03,Avseq04"!! It comes up with mediaplayer but says the file cannot be play "MMSYSTEM281".

    Plz can someone help me??

    Dabwee:

"Avseq01,Avseqo2,Avseq03,Avseq04" those should be the clips. They should have a .dat extension. The easiest way to play without any VCD or DVD player software, would be to right click one of those files and select, open with and then Media Player. Then that individual file should start playing in Windows Media Player.
