Okay...I've posted about this problem before, but I lost that particular post when my internet was down for three weeks, so here it is again.
I convert an AVI to MPEG with TMPGEnc, and then use NeroVision Express to burn it to disk with menus, but NeroVision reencodes the file. How can I prevent this? I'll run through the process as I do it so that I have no doubt I'm doing something wrong.
1. Open TMPGEnc. The project disc wizard comes up. I select NTSC under "Video-CD" and click Next.
2. I load my AVI file. Next.
3. I select the box for Source Frame. End frame: 84718. OK. Next.
4. Bitrate settings. No change. Next.
5. Output file. Uncheck box that says Start encoding immediately. Ok.
6. Load > VideoCD(NTSC).mcf. OK.
7. Setting > Motion Search Precision = Highest Quality (very slow). OK.
8. Start.
OK, I don't know if you need the excessive detail, but if I'm doing something wrong I really want to know. Thanks.
