  2. If memory serves me correctly there are two versions on the same disk for ice age. One is widescreen, ther other full screen. Both are under 4 GB's, and there is no reason to use DVD2ONE on that movie, as you don't need to transcode/encode anything. Just use IFOEdit to strip.

  3. I backed it up using the Guide to fitting a DVD on one VCD on this forum:
    http://www.vcdhelp.com/forum/userguides/84759.php
using cladDVDXP and TMPGenc - This rips the DVD and then encodes it using the bitrates you define - this guide shows how to do it for VCD quality but I am sure you could bump up the resolution to make it MPG2 using the same principles.
Doubt this is of any help but I got Ice Age backed up to protect the original from my daughters frizbee techniques, and it works fine.

  4. Ok, I know how to backup DVD's and dont need any help, thanks anyway.

I asked the question because my brother tried to back up Ice Age using DVDdecryptor and DVD2one and they would not do it, I am trying to find out if it is a problem with DVD2one or DVDdecryptor.

    cheers

  5. ice age is a bit tricky with dvd de-crypter especially if using the mode that selects the main movie file, as there is two files approx the same size ones the movie the other is the gallery/extras, you will have to manually find out which one.

    hope that helps

  8. OH yes

    sheppy124 and painkiller.

I came across the same problem with iceage and it was down to dvd decrypter selecting the wrong set of files.

    2 ways to overcome.

    1. do as painkiller says OR
    2. rip complete disc and strip with ifoedit.

The one I assume u decrypted was probably the animation/overlay segment.
I assume as I did the same.
