The CCE purists can say what they like, but so far on my 29" TV I can see no obvious advantage in a movie done with this and the same movie done with CCE. On a PC, maybe the higher definition does show them up more but I don't watch films on my PC.

Proof of the pudding is in the eating and this works perfectly for me.

Can't beat it. I get rid of unwanted audio tracks keep all subtiltles. All in a couple of clicks. No subtitle sync issues. I can now use my PC while its processing which is no more than 30 mins for long movies.

I will never rip and encode then author a dvd again.

  8. While it's not there yet, it has the potential to change half the guides on Doom9! This is the dawn of a new era.

  9. Tried it, very impressed if looking for near perfection this is it, not as good as DVDxCopy or DVD2DVDR, but has a lot of potinial and is very quick, also I am gonna wait to see how Pinnacle Instant Copy performs here in Feb and it transcodes also and will keep menu's and extra' , so not just gonna jump in yet see what other poducts have to offer 1st.

Rip, 're-encode' and burn in ONE HOUR!!!

The quality is better than my own (I am new to this ) because I kept mpeg size down to 4G to be on the safe side.

  13. From www.dvd2one.com :

Full disk copy. For those who want to keep those fancy menus and intros

some people have reported that this fiture is not true? or it is?

  14. If you read what was on the web page, it was in clear english, that this was a feature he is looking to implement in future releases.

Since this is the very first public release of DVD2one, it only has basic functionality. As a customer, you are entitled to free updates to future V1.x versions of DVD2one. Ideas for future V1.x versions:

Full disk copy. For those who want to keep those fancy menus and intros.
Split a movie over 2 disks. For those who are not willing to sacrifice any image quality.
Join 2 movies on 1 disk. Also very usefull for putting a flipper on 1 disk.
Subtitle processing tool. Change color, transparancy, location and maybe even size of the subtitles.
