  1. why are all vcd that I burn lagging? When I run them as avi files on my computer they runs smoothly.

  2. Ohhh.....I might know the answer to my own question.
    Maby it laggs because I have change the framerate from NTSC to pal.
    Could this be the problem?

    Yes I think that could be the problem but it can also be that you burn your vcd at a fast speed,try burn your vcd at the lowest speed.

    And maybe you donīt need to convert it to PAL cause most player can now play both PAL and NTSC.

    i've had this vcd for a while now and its been playing great. one day i checked out the specs on the disc and found out that it was 352x288 at 25fps. that was wierd cuz i live in the us with an ntsc dvd player and tv. so i guess they can play it all.

  5. Hi! Can I ask a question related to this topic? If you want to play an SVCD that is in NTSC, and you have a DVD player that wil play NTSC and PAL, but your TV is in PAL format, will this work? Will the DVD player convert the stream to PAL format for your PAL TV?
