i made a vcd with nero 5.5.4.0
i used the lil wizard.. and i just dragged the movie into it and burned it..
now here is what i think went wrong and i just want to make sure.
i copied the movie from an already made vcd that my friend made. so i just copied the .dat file, both of them.
then i used vcdgear 2.0 to convert from .dat to .mpg (i dont know why i did this and i think that is why it skips) so then it converted all fine and dandy.. it plays perfect on the pc.. so i went and burned it onto vcd and it skips.
i have a philips PCRW804K and burned it at 8x and a Philips DVD711 dvd player. so they skipped and then i remember about updating the firmware.. so i downloaded that and updated the firmware perfectly.. (worked good thanks firmware guy) and it still skipped. i never did the conversion and never messed with the settings when i burnt the vcd. so i think i just gotta re-encode the .dat file.. cuz i just burnt another movie vcd and it works fine..
thanks for the help guys. enjoy the site very much.
