  1. Some large movies are split up into 2 .avi files and I have to have them into one dvd mpeg to burn onto dvd. What's the process to merge and burn them?

    Thanks in advance, Buko

  6. I tried multiple different ways in TMPG to batch encode the two avi videos into a mpeg but couldn't get them both combined. If someone could give me a step by step instruction I would really appreciate it. Thanks, Buko

  7. I've looked everywhere on this site and I can't find anywhere where it shows how to convert 2 AVI files into 1 file beit AVI or MPEG. I've trial and errored in the TMPG program and Virtualdub multiple times and I can't figure it out.

    Please Help, Thanks, Buko

If you can run with AviSynth, this script does it for you:
    AVISource("d:capcap1.avi")+AVISource("d:capcap2.av i")
    +AVISource("d:capcap3.avi")

  9. I got avisynth running and created the script and loaded it into virtual dub but then I got completely lost on what to do after that. I tried the sav .avi file option but it started creating an 80 gig file. Can I just combine the two avi files using this program? Do I have to extract audio out of it first? Extract audio after?

you can either just frameserve if you're going to convert or you have to compress it if you want to save it as an avi.

  11. So I load up the avisynth file (.avs) that combines the two videos and then I click video>compression and then do I select one of those options? Their 2 large avi files that are 700 megs each and their DVD Screeners which I would like to burn onto DVD.
