    how do i get my m2v onto a dvd-r i've used remeg dycrpter and ifoedit so far and have an image on my hard drive followed guides but can't get it any further any help really appreiciated.

    what size is your original .m2v? If its small enough to fit on a dvd-r (with it's sound) then you don't need to transcode it with ReMPEG. I don't know the source of your file, but I've been able to take a .m2v encoded from a DV Type-2 .avi using TMPGEnc, with it's .ac3 (sound) file and was able to author using ifoEdit and burn using Nero.
