Help Backing Up US Manga DVD's !!

I have two anime DVD's "Ninja Scroll" and "Castle of Calistro" both from US Manga.

I'm using Smartripper 2.41 and it says that the disc's are locked and I cannot rip it. I then try to view the DVD's with PowerDVD and it wont recognize the DVD's. (they play in stand alones fine)

Can I just copy raw data to the HD and then burn it to DVD-R? Any help on ripping these movies for backup greatly appreciated.

I fixed it

I read a topic "Smartripper Problems" It says I need to download and install Force ASPI drivers.
