  1. My 1st 'successful' DVD-9 to DVD-5 (DVD-R w/main menu, xtras and movie). But the damned thing won't play in my Sony DVP700P--"Disc is dirty" error come up.. ??

Then when I try to play it in my chipped Panasonic, it takes 3min to load, then this hazy non-working main menu come up, just frozen... ??

I'm using the .60-cent Princo's (1x).. I'm assuming that's the problem.. Can anyone confirm? thx.

  2. I could confirm if I was there, but why don't you confirm it yourself.

Cheap/poor media and media compatibility with the player are POSSIBLE reasons. UDF/ISO, UDF version, and other possibilites also exist.

  3. Burned it in UDF/ISO mode (1.02).. I have Nero 5.5.9.13 and after searching/reading, I'm to use UDF/ISO mode for greatest set-top compatibility, no?

    I'm currently re-burning with a Pioneer DVD-RW--hopefully that'll work..

  4. OK.. burned onto the Pioneer DVD-RW---same message from my Sony DVP700P: "C: Disc is dirty" ?? Won't play on my Panasonic RP62 (chipped). But plays perfectly in PowerDVD..

I used DVD Decrypter, DVD2AVI, VFAPI Reader, CCE 2.64, IFOedit .95, IFOupdate and Nero 5.5.9.13

Anyone care to guess where I goofed this time.. ??
