  1. After ripping my files and running them through IFOedit, I have been having trouble burning them with recordnow. Some of the time, they work, but most of the time the job is "terminated with error". That is all it says. I have tracked the problem down to the "recognize VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS" option. When I don't have that option selected, the files record with no error, they just don't play in stand alone dvd players. The only thing I can figure is there must be something missing from my video_ts folder. The only file I can find different from the ones that work to the ones that don't is the Video_ts.vob file. Could this be causing all the problems with recordnow max and how do I create this file if it is?

  3. I was following Cavie's dvd-9 to dvd-5 no reencoding. I think I missed the last step of ifoedit "get vts sectors" I will try this and see if it makes a difference.

  5. I believe this is it. I copied it a while back and thought I had the method down. I guess it's time to relearn.

  6. I followed the guide again, double checking myself this time, and found my problem. Thanks for your answer, just kinda makes me feel stupid now for even asking.

  8. I am not currently working on a movie that I can use IFO Edit on but I a curious if that was your solution to your problem. "8 - Ok, we are almost done The last thing you will have to do is click on the buttom GET VTS sectors to correct your IFO files (see 2e screen)" from the guide that you gave a link to.

I have had this problem with IFO Edit and RecordNow Max 4.5 and have not found the solution yet needed to burn with NERO. Is this it, what you found.

  9. So far I believe that is the problem. I have taken the folders that wouldn't burn with recordnow max and ran ifoedit running the "get VTS Sector" part again. Now everything burns fine and is playable by my standalone player.
