Help: What happens after update firmware for DRU500A

Hi,

When upgrading to 1.0f firmware, the instruction says to remove the intel ultra ATA storeage driver. After you complete the upgrade, how do you install it back or if you need to?

I installed it with it installed. What happens is after the update the computer just locks up requiring a reset. When you reset all is well and the firmware update is done. Remember it does not lock up until after it sais its done. I suspect its just because it detects new hardware, being the Sony DRU500a with the new firmware. This is what I experienced both times that I did my update.
