    Is there anyway of increasing the quality (getting rid of blockiness or anything) which i can do (i just watch them on my computer).

    If you mean for making your own DivX encoding, sure there are lots of options. If you mean cleaning up a d/loaded DivX file. Then no, no so much. GIGO after all.
